FRIEND:
Shashi: thank you for being so opened. I would like to know actually more about you, were have you learn all of this? And why are you taking all this work ? I am wondering who you are as a person.
ohh I was forgetting to ask you about kundalini that you mention, isn't it dangerous to get involve in that. I mean, we can all expand it but what if we are not prepared to do that. I have been told that kundalini moves energies that not always we are prepared to deal with.

ME:
Coming to Kundalini... the power that are there are very powerful and but very hard to attain that state of raising those powers upwards and openning the gateways of the chakra... what we are trying to do here, realise the awareness of them within our self.... and I don't think that in only 11days we will be able to unleash its energy ... and no its not dangerous if you are able to awaken those energies as I believe that if you are strong enough to awaken them, then you are strong enough to handle them.. all these danger thing has come from the Tantric Practices who try to raise it for some kind of negetivite actions and try to control these energies for their personal physical gains.... and some of them wanted this to be obscure so they made it dangerous... to handle.. anything to do with supreme consciousness is a positive thing and will have positive effect only...

FRIEND:
Ok, I will take your word of kundalini not being dangerous. Nevertheless I do recommend that you measure what you say about it, I have seen that the majority of the people in this group are female and western, and I’m afraid that it could lead them to improper methods.

So far what you have proposed us, it great, but westerns are not very patient and we want things know and sometime we get involve in stuff that are not very nice. I say this not thinking in your program but thinking in the afterwards.

About you not being a guru, I have to tell you that it doesn’t worry me. We are all trying to evolve, to walk the path that leads us you nirvana, it doesn’t really matters where we are standing, just matters that we keep walking and helping each other.

ME:
I really did not understand what you mean by saying that westerners not being patient etc and get involved actually. What about afterwords, Please explain as it will definately help me in understanding and taking this forward as well as it will also make me grow further in my understanding. I will be happy if you explain frankly.

Hi Shashi, what I meant about westerners is that we have a very strong Judeo-Christian culture and the problem with that is that those religions don’t offer any method of spiritual development. You don’t get to an enlightment, you just sit and wait till you die. And your only salvation is to regret your sins. It’s a culture based in guilt and there is nothing you can do.
For those uncomfortable with that you can either go for the hole experience or you search a shortcut. And by that a mean magical things, they look up for palm reading, and rituals with candles, anything at all that can give them power over others.
There are thousands of books with witchcrafts recipes, that would give you the job you are looking for, or making someone fall in love with you, or having more money.
But those who know about kundalini, and are avid of power is worst, because I understand that there are ways that you can awake that energy without being prepared, and a lot get of them get harm or harm other people.
And this happens as I was telling you because of the hole of our religions. We don’t have the Vedas or the Sutras to guide us, we are told that all that stuff is diabolic. So those who have the courage to look beyond, sometimes are mist lead.
All the mystical aspect of life has been hidden for centuries as a result of the persecutions of the catholic church.
Now a days we have access of almost everything but we do not know how to used that knowledge, and the majority of the people want pleasure and power, they don’t know that is a path of love and renounce.
Of course I am generalizing, not everyone is like that, but giving information to someone that is not prepared, can be dramatic.
And I should know that, you have no idea the things I have herd. One time a was teaching a simpler way of meditation that I do to a guy, and that person told a friend of mine that I was a witch and that I wanted to harm him. In an other opportunity a friend told me that it was her last reincarnation. I mean people can’t distinguish very well anything, and perhaps the people that you selected in you group aren’t like that, maybe they have things a lot more clear then me, but the only thing that I was trying to say is that we never know the impact that we can have in a person and we should take that with a great responsibility.

I am a little bit upset about the friend's mention of the "judeo-christians not having any methods of spiritual development." Today, as a hindu and as an indian whose family has spent five generations in the west, i can tell you that there is something very wrong with that statement. Will you call me an eastern woman or a western woman? Maybe you will say i have an identity crisis=0)
No! Read the gospels if you want to see the methods of spritual development for the "judeo-christians." Jesus was the greatest amongst yogis. he was a self-realized soul! Why was Gandhi following the teachings of Jesus Christ if the Judeo-Christian religion does not have any method for attaining oneness with God! I must remind you of something Jesus Himself said, "I and my Father are One!"

Shashi, I think you are doing a great job! I think it was fitting for you to mention Kundalini. After all, these exercises are meant to awaken that dormant energy within all of us. Eleven days are not enough but at least we have an idea what we are doing all this for. I do not think there can be repercussions for trying to improve oneself whether western or not. I really do not believe that a person who has really experienced Kundalini rising will be harmed or harmful. Maybe I am too optimistic but that is something that westerners are. they are embracing and optimistic. Life can be a happy experience if we start looking for similarities instead of pointing out differences. all things lead to One. Just as we can learn from eastern cultures, there are many things that can be learnt from western cultures. both Paramahansa Yogananda and Swami Vivekananda saw these and they integrated them into their teachings to produce a method that was appealing to EVERYONE.
